Server logs
Like any web server, ours records each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser's identification string and the referring page. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and to fix errors. They are deleted automatically after 14 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply and keep them no longer than needed for that.
Local storage
Some tools may remember your own settings, such as bit names in the status word decoder, in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device; you can delete it by clearing the site data in your browser.
Advertising
The site currently shows no ads. Before that changes, this page will be updated and you will be asked for consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In the Czech Republic this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, www.uoou.gov.cz).
